Unveils Works is an independent development studio operated by Ankit Patil. This policy explains how we handle information through our website, project inquiry forms, and apps we publish, including SpacePilot.
When you contact us, we collect the details you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number, project type, and message. Our website may also collect basic analytics information such as page views, device type, browser, approximate location, and referral source.
For apps such as SpacePilot, the app may request access to files, photos, videos, documents, media metadata, and cloud account access only when those features are needed for storage management, search, backup, duplicate detection, or clean-up suggestions.
SpacePilot scans selected device storage so it can show large files, older files, duplicates, photos, videos, documents, and clean-up suggestions. The purpose is to help you understand what is taking space and choose what to back up or delete.
SpacePilot does not delete your local files automatically after backup. When supported, it asks for your approval after files are uploaded. If you choose not to delete them, the app can keep them available for later review.
If you connect a Google account, SpacePilot uses the permission you grant to upload selected files to your Google Drive and check whether backup has somewhere to go. Your Google account is used for the backup features you choose, and you can disconnect it from the app or your Google account settings.
Files uploaded to Google Drive are handled by Google under your Google account and Google's privacy terms. Unveils Works does not sell your cloud files or use them for advertising.
SpacePilot may analyze filenames, media metadata, thumbnails, and visual content to improve search and grouping. Face grouping is intended to help you find people in your photos more accurately, but results can be imperfect and should be reviewed by you.
If an optional cloud AI feature such as Gemini is enabled, selected content or derived information may be sent to the configured AI provider to help classify, search, or sort files. We aim to limit this to what is needed for the requested feature.
We use information to respond to inquiries, provide requested services, improve website performance, operate app features, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and maintain security. We do not sell personal information.
We may use service providers such as Google Analytics for website measurement, FormSubmit or email services for contact forms, Google Drive for user-authorized backup, Google Gemini for optional AI-assisted sorting, and hosting providers for delivering the website or app services.
You can choose not to submit the contact form, revoke app permissions, disconnect Google Drive, stop a backup, delete backed-up files from your cloud account, and remove local files only when you decide to do so. You can also request deletion of inquiry information you previously sent to us.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet, device, or cloud system is perfectly secure, so you should keep your device, Google account, and app permissions protected.
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
We may update this policy when our services, apps, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
